Married for 27 years to his wife Charlene, father of 4 children, and grandfather to 3 grandchildren, Dr. Philip Heinecke is a 1982 Graduate of Kansas State Univeristy. He was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta and Phi Kappa Phi Honor societies and graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-Dentistry. He next attended the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1986.

Upon Graduation, Dr. Heinecke accepted a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Florida where he spent time training in advanced dental procedures, anesthesiology, and emergency room care at Shand's Hospital. He also trained and cared for our veterans at the VA Hospital in Gainesville.

August 3, 1987, Dr. Heinecke joined Dr. Chan Springstead in his Brooksville, Fl practice that he soon purchased when Dr. Springstead retired. The location today is the original home of Heinecke Family Dentistry.

Dr. Heinecke was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 1995. He served for 10 years as a board member for the Salvation Army, and was a member of Kiwanis Club for 10 years as well. He continues to be service minded and spends time volunteering at the Crescent Free clinic each month.

Ashley Heinecke Massey, DMD

Returning home to the Brooksville, Fl area, Dr. Ashley Massey is Dr. Heinecke's daughter and Associate Dentist. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, an Alpha Delta Pi alumnus, and a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member. Beginning at the age of 20, Dr. Massey travelled to Birmingham, Al where she recieved her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree at the Univeristy of Alabama School of Dentistry.

During her time at UAB, Dr. Massey recieved cutting-edge training in restorative dentistry, esthetic technique, implants, and a full list of other basic and advanced care options. As a supportive role in her dental training, Dr. Massey logged hundreds of hours at Christ Health Center in Birmingham, Fairhaven Senior Care Dental Clinic in Irondale, Al, and the Jefferson County Health Department. Here she spent time caring for individuals who do not normally have easy access to oral care, and developed a love for treating patients of all ages.

Dr. Massey is commited to providing the newest in technology and treatment alternatives to all of her patients in a caring environment, children and adults alike.

J. Taylor Massey, DMD

Dr. Taylor Massey is Dr. Philip Heinecke's son-in-law and Associate Dentist. He is a 2011 graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Al, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and a Minor in Computer Science with Magna Cum Laude Honors. During his time there he conducted research in childhood obesity, diet, and nutrition.

After his undergraduate career, Dr. Massey spent a year and a half as a dental technician at Oral Arts Dental Laboratory in Huntsville, Al where he was trained and practiced the art of crafting crowns, bridges, and dentures. He then attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Al and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.

Dr. Taylor spent a large portion of his dental school career seeking advanced training in oral surgery techniques and commited extra time outside of school hours to the surgery clinic at UAB. He was also recognized by the American Academy of Orofacial Pain for his excellence in assesment and management of TMD and orofacial pain, and is a member of the Academy of Orofacial Pain.

Dr. Massey continues his passion for service in providing excellent and personally tailored care for each of his patients.
